Design Elements – Series III

These were done as a series of 3 to practice our understanding design elements. They were all done in 2012 at York University. The elements of design were Texture, Direction, Form, Rhythm, Scale & Space.

Series III focused on using only three elements in each image and showing a contrast.

This was done on a country, state and congressional district level to show the overall non-white distribution in the states due to the preconception that Americans are white.

I asked my friend’s which Batman villian was their favourite and did my own concept of them.

2012 – Planeswalkers

I asked my friends which colours in Magic: The Gathering they would use if they were a sorcerer in that universe. These are the concepts of what we would look like. Guess who uses what colours? (Finished in 2013. Very late Christmas present…)
